Delivered in 1999, N120UA flew premier international routes across the globe, from San Francisco to Tokyo, Chicago to Frankfurt, and beyond. As part of United’s final fleet of 747-400s, it helped the airline connect continents and define the golden age of long-haul travel before its retirement in 2017.
With a distinctive humpback silhouette, powerful Pratt & Whitney engines, and long-range capabilities, the 747-400 was the flagship of United’s global operations for years. N120UA stood at the center of that legacy.
After retirement, N120UA was sent to the Victorville boneyard, where MotoArt recovered sections of its fuselage to preserve its story through our PlaneTags collection.
