Serial number 70-0451 was the 65th C-5A of 81 produced, entering service at Charleston Air Force Base in 1972 and later stationed at Travis Air Force Base until 1992. It then served at Kelly Field Annex, Texas, and participated in missions such as Operation Nickel Grass and Antarctic research. Retired in 2017 with 24,656.9 flight hours, it was preserved by MotoArt and Travis AFB in 2024 as PlaneTags, honoring its storied service.
