B 747-400 1/250 aircraftmodels in BA Negus livery
Scale: 1:250
The Boeing 747-400 G-CIVB was given the Negus design of the years 1974 to 1984. The Negus look, named after the English design firm Negus & Negus, which created the livery, characterized the first years of the "new" British Airways after the merger of BOAC and BEA. It was the first uniform livery of the newly formed airline - this paint scheme in the retro portfolio of British Airways should not be missing, of course.
With the blue belly and the Union Jack allusion on the tail unit, the design created by Dick Negus also already set the direction for the later Landor livery (also available from us!). However, the Negus look is dominated by red on the tail, whereas Landor opted for dark blue as the predominant color.
